Engineering Note
KR vs KRV: Check the Running-Surface Profile Before Replacement

Cam-follower naming can tempt a buyer to assume that one family always means one outer-ring profile. The available KR/KRV specification instead notes that the outer surface can be cylindrical or spherical depending on design. That makes the physical profile a selection input, not something to guess from the model string alone.
Why the Profile Matters
A cylindrical running surface puts a different contact pattern on a flat track than a crowned or spherical surface. If a machine was designed around one profile, changing it can affect contact width, edge loading and alignment behaviour. Inspect the old part and the mating track before ordering.
Add the Profile to the RFQ
A side photograph, simple sketch or manufacturer drawing can remove ambiguity. Include the KR/KRV/CF reference as well, but use the geometry as the final check.
