When an Eccentric KRE / KRVE Cam Follower Helps
The KR/KRV specification notes KRE/KRVE designations when an eccentric arrangement is used. An eccentric stud can help a machine builder adjust the follower position relative to a track or cam, but it should be selected as part of the mechanism geometry rather than treated as a universal upgrade.
Where Adjustment Adds Value
Track clearance, assembly tolerance and wear take-up are common reasons to consider eccentric adjustment. The required offset has to work with the mounting hole, stud support and available wrench access.

Provide the existing follower size, required eccentric offset if known, mounting drawing, track position and the direction in which adjustment is needed.
