Cam Follower RFQ Checklist for OEM and MRO Buyers

A short, complete RFQ is more useful than a long message with no measurable interface. Start with the existing model if you have it, then add the dimensions and operating details that determine the execution.
Minimum Useful Information
| Item | What to send |
|---|---|
| Reference | KR/KRV/CF/NAKD code or photo of marking. |
| Quantity | Required order or sample quantity. |
| Dimensions | Roller diameter/width, stud diameter and thread. |
| Application | Cam, rail, conveyor, machine tool, robot or other mechanism. |
| Duty | Speed/cycle, load direction, shock and operating environment. |
| Execution | Profile, eccentric adjustment, seal/grease, material or documents. |
A Drawing Beats a Guess
If the code is missing or partly worn off, a dimensioned sketch or machine drawing usually resolves more uncertainty than another keyword search.
